<b>How to make the Table</b></div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<ol>
<li>Take all three pieces A and glue them together along the long sides to create the table top.<br />Hold them together with masking tape until glue has dried.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgETW9RXttsUyPTUYDBRGdAlB56lb0qYiD4TfgwmabAD5rT4BaBCYD5rx0xTmJ9Sv0Dj0eH9QVIVO-KOsRQIjhohogeZENey_-79ozEGGwofc7YnpZ4HYPQ2nxpzqsSLutZHcczxtaM6DL7/s1600/Step8.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="836" data-original-width="1501" height="178" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgETW9RXttsUyPTUYDBRGdAlB56lb0qYiD4TfgwmabAD5rT4BaBCYD5rx0xTmJ9Sv0Dj0eH9QVIVO-KOsRQIjhohogeZENey_-79ozEGGwofc7YnpZ4HYPQ2nxpzqsSLutZHcczxtaM6DL7/s320/Step8.png" width="320" /></a></div>
</li>
<li>Take one piece C and glue two pieces D to either end on one side (bottom side).<br />Repeat with another piece C and the remaining two pieces D. Optionally you can use masking tape to temporarily hold pieces in place while glue dries. Set both aside for the glue to dry.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

</li>
<li>Take two pieces E and glue them together along the long side.<br />Use masking tape to temporarily hold the pieces together. Set aside for glue to dry.<br />Repeat for the remaining two pieces E.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

</li>
<li>Take one of the glued pieces E and glue in the center of one of the glued pieces CD from step 2.<br />Use masking tape to temporarily hold in place. This will create part of the table leg.<br />Repeat for the other pieces E and CD.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhlOYnbRgPzi1TMa6jCAqGegFt8NkTOZlClZGdqL9YQhBCx9l4X9rGL-e3b9jpszZVUqBvWsYMiQq-ZUT4zBKapcaFKqnj4Iwt7TBbV15_bYoxmmccblxgVMQq9sRx2D9ZGA1BhinEO19dY/s1600/Step3.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="836" data-original-width="1501" height="178" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhlOYnbRgPzi1TMa6jCAqGegFt8NkTOZlClZGdqL9YQhBCx9l4X9rGL-e3b9jpszZVUqBvWsYMiQq-ZUT4zBKapcaFKqnj4Iwt7TBbV15_bYoxmmccblxgVMQq9sRx2D9ZGA1BhinEO19dY/s320/Step3.png" width="320" /></a></div>
</li>
<li>Pre-drill (4) holes from C into both E pieces with a drill bit just a little smaller than your 2" wood screws and taper the hole edges with a larger drill bit.<br />Use (4) 2" long wood screws to attach pieces E to C.<br />Repeat for the other table leg.<br />Set both table legs aside for later use.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiTn65L4s-Cf5IYhEFaewz0E9B7OxN1Ko2iLouRvQznRZ_qokq9Jw8gEvShcPwuHu-O8lgql82qVySsUzyjymTG6bzRCcCMyCH2gAfuV0ZzJHtZhTNe8dSj027sGBXkMmvD5XbRUocyNk-J/s1600/Step4.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="836" data-original-width="1501" height="178" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiTn65L4s-Cf5IYhEFaewz0E9B7OxN1Ko2iLouRvQznRZ_qokq9Jw8gEvShcPwuHu-O8lgql82qVySsUzyjymTG6bzRCcCMyCH2gAfuV0ZzJHtZhTNe8dSj027sGBXkMmvD5XbRUocyNk-J/s320/Step4.png" width="320" /></a></div>
</li>
<li>Take a piece C and a piece B and center them. Use some masking tape to keep them aligned.<br />On piece C put a centered mark 3/4" from end. Repeat on the other end.<br />Drill a hole at each mark through both pieces B and C. Keep taped together.<br />Repeat for remaining piece B and C.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiMTntVOMs3Jcmev4vY60BDG3VdI8xsAFmpVlYHceBLQmvs4tAeV-hTzV3XdLOd02D74rHydlpbEvcvJqfNq-6PmTbAsGxddmxxRXDaxhG5TXsvNC_UV6ciIJdEDOc9Ve9Q9VgetZ6B9gAz/s1600/Step5.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="836" data-original-width="1501" height="178" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiMTntVOMs3Jcmev4vY60BDG3VdI8xsAFmpVlYHceBLQmvs4tAeV-hTzV3XdLOd02D74rHydlpbEvcvJqfNq-6PmTbAsGxddmxxRXDaxhG5TXsvNC_UV6ciIJdEDOc9Ve9Q9VgetZ6B9gAz/s320/Step5.png" width="320" /></a></div>
</li>
<li>This is just a recommended step but I can't drill holes in the exact spot on all sides, I need to mark which BC pairs go together and in which direction. To do that, open the masking tape and fold B and C open like a book. Mark with a pencil on the "open pages" both "pages" with the number 1 (make sure you know what is up on your 1!).<br />Repeat for the other BC pair, marking it with the number 2.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiVva5CMyiJU-uwnAChsaxuJf4xpXYbnHKhjVMpNI1Nye5eXc_XSJIXchqrAIyKxKLVtfIUzW6nKTx49XkEOUG5C_AiezpgEu2ICgHeg3fVQ0GKe5NeK75xEn5IK8ryOng9VPxH2QAOW7hr/s1600/Step5b.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="836" data-original-width="1501" height="178" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiVva5CMyiJU-uwnAChsaxuJf4xpXYbnHKhjVMpNI1Nye5eXc_XSJIXchqrAIyKxKLVtfIUzW6nKTx49XkEOUG5C_AiezpgEu2ICgHeg3fVQ0GKe5NeK75xEn5IK8ryOng9VPxH2QAOW7hr/s320/Step5b.png" width="320" /></a></div>
</li>
<li>Widen holes on both pieces B with a 1/4" drill bit so that the Tee-nut fits into the whole.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjd6GfBMGw25XRNa52hFY0hmi5VuA7qU_ctt97Xpva6UPlNELmcxudzFRxbbfm1C0fzVysNaYJ3AfgBemrMtpuwNAeFYF9t-2jYTY9TjL6Q9Rectp4yMJbuNbNtHeCXhq26G1noIs2SG4Ud/s1600/Step6.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="836" data-original-width="1501" height="178" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjd6GfBMGw25XRNa52hFY0hmi5VuA7qU_ctt97Xpva6UPlNELmcxudzFRxbbfm1C0fzVysNaYJ3AfgBemrMtpuwNAeFYF9t-2jYTY9TjL6Q9Rectp4yMJbuNbNtHeCXhq26G1noIs2SG4Ud/s320/Step6.png" width="320" /></a></div>
</li>
<li>Take table top (glued pieces A) from step 1 and align pieces B on wrong side of table top<br />1 1/2" from the ends.<br />Mark the holes on table top (marked in red on picture), then set table top aside.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-apA-4GU5E7xnfS1iJVBUHf2sarWbMOLuT5k7aVbTw38Gd5vzaHgBzl1cRHIydOC1ruO777zSwAt9svWpleaWFGlLWhKNNkBt48cTkNHpph0zejFaRD5M3vFO17rThj38Thr1uzUQHzQ6/s1600/Step7.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="836" data-original-width="1501" height="178" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-apA-4GU5E7xnfS1iJVBUHf2sarWbMOLuT5k7aVbTw38Gd5vzaHgBzl1cRHIydOC1ruO777zSwAt9svWpleaWFGlLWhKNNkBt48cTkNHpph0zejFaRD5M3vFO17rThj38Thr1uzUQHzQ6/s320/Step7.png" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
</li>
<li>Hammer Tee-nuts into the holes on pieces B from the side that does NOT have the number 1 or 2 written on it. Set aside<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQvbQv60Aw5wlWHe4bhxwg8EZ69NwnUtBJj-CQtlwQBf0iuLrBPFXxwa3bCKkh-GalknM-BOy1HiFI3sEjLgIF7HypRuiUR-u2GvWDFj1Uo_mR0WHkEGWXx7EMG5tzVNzWo1Nm9ktJHsAY/s1600/Step6b.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="836" data-original-width="1501" height="178" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQvbQv60Aw5wlWHe4bhxwg8EZ69NwnUtBJj-CQtlwQBf0iuLrBPFXxwa3bCKkh-GalknM-BOy1HiFI3sEjLgIF7HypRuiUR-u2GvWDFj1Uo_mR0WHkEGWXx7EMG5tzVNzWo1Nm9ktJHsAY/s320/Step6b.png" width="320" /></a></div>
</li>
<li>Take rotary tool and create an indentation on each of the hole marks on table top (A) large and deep enough that the head of the Tee-nut fits in it and so that piece B sits flush with A.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWketZiF6RxW3kEJadByvD3QoUF_J4iwluajXRoDLpAqVWs3iqcLQyxnfBctuIk6oPPLSfp8fOO9c9ZtQcYPplV19sGQj0suCjcIUeiMEhia9suXTpNWwamKTkVsvxqpb_VrlKb6rDuUhyphenhyphen/s1600/Step8.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="836" data-original-width="1501" height="178" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWketZiF6RxW3kEJadByvD3QoUF_J4iwluajXRoDLpAqVWs3iqcLQyxnfBctuIk6oPPLSfp8fOO9c9ZtQcYPplV19sGQj0suCjcIUeiMEhia9suXTpNWwamKTkVsvxqpb_VrlKb6rDuUhyphenhyphen/s320/Step8.png" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
</li>
<li>Glue pieces B onto table top and align Tee-nut heads so they fit into the indentations made in the previous step.<br />Pre-drill holes with a tiny drill bit for the small #4 flat head wood screws. Each piece A should be attached with 4 screws to each piece B.<br />Your table top is done.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgmwIfxhWQJnhDPYZesiPcJtbY4HMapiDExVLbLSBLnSpO52tmBaaNUxnwuaqe_1ekCsl7w75IPoUhdhtJQ4ie4JPx3_4Vm9oMOe1o5CMbuEgLvZtAQowSE_eab1gv5Xg1osJg6OzgKluJ6/s1600/Step9+-+Copy.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="836" data-original-width="1501" height="178" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgmwIfxhWQJnhDPYZesiPcJtbY4HMapiDExVLbLSBLnSpO52tmBaaNUxnwuaqe_1ekCsl7w75IPoUhdhtJQ4ie4JPx3_4Vm9oMOe1o5CMbuEgLvZtAQowSE_eab1gv5Xg1osJg6OzgKluJ6/s320/Step9+-+Copy.png" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
</li>
<li>Take one of the remaining pieces C from step 7 and center on table legs created in step 5.<br />Have the number one written in pencil face up.<br />Pre-drill holes and taper the edges, just as was done in step 5. Make sure the screws sit flush with the wood surface.<br />Repeat for the other table leg and piece C.<br />Your table legs are done.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2WqHFbJ0LvEoDsG0RW_ZTYC4r2S5u0QfAal5IIA9UBl5OtGnIt2oCXL4eHx4lYo_eERTjx6tviiO57eC6KKB9KxomMXXMKOcOAhb9uS2T28tSZly49VECDnXkdCDQcd_zr7InkhFH-dIq/s1600/Step11b.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="836" data-original-width="1501" height="178" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2WqHFbJ0LvEoDsG0RW_ZTYC4r2S5u0QfAal5IIA9UBl5OtGnIt2oCXL4eHx4lYo_eERTjx6tviiO57eC6KKB9KxomMXXMKOcOAhb9uS2T28tSZly49VECDnXkdCDQcd_zr7InkhFH-dIq/s320/Step11b.png" width="320" /></a></div>
</li>
<li>Now you have the table legs and table top as you can store them when table is not used.<br />Let's get to the assembly.<br />Take one of the machine screws and add a washer to it.<br />Align table leg 1 with the table top part B that is marked 1 and screw table leg to table top with machine screw and washer.<br />Repeat for the remaining 3 screws and washers.<br />Your table is done. When you want to store the table, just remove those 4 machine screws and washers.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

</li>
</ol>

<b>How to make the Bench</b></div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<ol>
<li>Take both pieces A and glue them together along the long sides to create the bench top.<br />Hold them together with masking tape until glue has dried.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-LF1JtUyjMf4qZxgreD1nOZJ0bALvPzlNllHWGP5UjIIK77ZcyaZC-AeUBQvQakj1EcgzX2ATxnGSnSARktcR6zTJ5nQjAWSegFylOQvfAL2TFfWZiDILIWKxGWjWCzW74k7yN8vIONCS/s1600/Bench+Step8.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="836" data-original-width="1501" height="178" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-LF1JtUyjMf4qZxgreD1nOZJ0bALvPzlNllHWGP5UjIIK77ZcyaZC-AeUBQvQakj1EcgzX2ATxnGSnSARktcR6zTJ5nQjAWSegFylOQvfAL2TFfWZiDILIWKxGWjWCzW74k7yN8vIONCS/s320/Bench+Step8.png" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
</li>
<li>Take one piece C and glue two pieces D to either end on one side (bottom side).<br />Repeat with another piece C and the remaining two pieces D. Optionally you can use masking tape to temporarily hold pieces in place while glue dries. Set both aside for the glue to dry.<br /><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg0xnJqVofR5SLFl7wtMvUkpT_WRgD7NZZ9dn1LiCTSaWldSDNz9NlfqTXKYp84vbdxpXR8_bYR7Ntig5JPs6DvJAls1Rx3XejOttWvxCVVLUgoY_IEhbSXyiE0MUHvGrOY2h6fHwCxoyhb/s1600/Bench+Step+1.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="836" data-original-width="1501" height="178" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg0xnJqVofR5SLFl7wtMvUkpT_WRgD7NZZ9dn1LiCTSaWldSDNz9NlfqTXKYp84vbdxpXR8_bYR7Ntig5JPs6DvJAls1Rx3XejOttWvxCVVLUgoY_IEhbSXyiE0MUHvGrOY2h6fHwCxoyhb/s320/Bench+Step+1.png" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
</li>
<li>Take one of the pieces E and glue in the center of one of the glued pieces CD from step 2.<br />Use masking tape to temporarily hold in place. This will create part of the bench leg.<br />Repeat for the other piece E and CD.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg438Qy_D-eatwJdlCyi7R6_eBkP-gigupAbkP5BrF2tatwvmBqJ6XvqlHUPZIXAQODMX7N2sA-N2c7dSwdeYH49cmrDncu3FHcWuivwm6FU1n8CEtQj61SmaMpDbMKNFAZyuKdwopIZhpp/s1600/Bench+Step2.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="836" data-original-width="1501" height="178" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg438Qy_D-eatwJdlCyi7R6_eBkP-gigupAbkP5BrF2tatwvmBqJ6XvqlHUPZIXAQODMX7N2sA-N2c7dSwdeYH49cmrDncu3FHcWuivwm6FU1n8CEtQj61SmaMpDbMKNFAZyuKdwopIZhpp/s320/Bench+Step2.png" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
</li>
<li>Pre-drill (2) holes from C into the E piece with a drill bit just a little smaller than your 2" wood screws and taper the hole edges with a larger drill bit.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhP8Ulw07nzurOx8TJe553voNo7z5T7vjlD4BpEd526dCH9gstqoG-tayjrp1_6z4zZ9otz5KN26fS4EIcxe6ZFk4rFGZtyG09wA1QjGmEFhjScdp5sqUPNPSmkN4X1vu8jRyhGHFyK1uZz/s1600/Bench+Step3.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="836" data-original-width="1501" height="178" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhP8Ulw07nzurOx8TJe553voNo7z5T7vjlD4BpEd526dCH9gstqoG-tayjrp1_6z4zZ9otz5KN26fS4EIcxe6ZFk4rFGZtyG09wA1QjGmEFhjScdp5sqUPNPSmkN4X1vu8jRyhGHFyK1uZz/s320/Bench+Step3.png" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
</li>
<li>Use (2) 2" long wood screws to attach piece E to C.<br />Repeat for the other bench leg.<br />Set both bench legs aside for later use.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj1gNyG81uWsEhyphenhyphen9XEhJLOUVKZwpB80PKwkc_oTqtU4eVV-PNG-XaLaKEENQshfRs1x-z9YQ71_0Bk82emmG4RfWWEbsgNPSW2jeA_ms8ONYYN64UwXn8IJyb0Pu2jslfw2y8Y0QID5WeEX/s1600/Bench+Step3b.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="836" data-original-width="1501" height="178" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj1gNyG81uWsEhyphenhyphen9XEhJLOUVKZwpB80PKwkc_oTqtU4eVV-PNG-XaLaKEENQshfRs1x-z9YQ71_0Bk82emmG4RfWWEbsgNPSW2jeA_ms8ONYYN64UwXn8IJyb0Pu2jslfw2y8Y0QID5WeEX/s320/Bench+Step3b.png" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
</li>
<li>Take a piece C and a piece B and align on top of each other. Use some masking tape to keep them aligned.<br />On piece C put a centered mark 1/2" from end. Repeat on the other end.<br />Drill a hole at each mark through both pieces B and C. Keep taped together.<br />Repeat for remaining piece B and C.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjhA4vCxoEhgi9R2wZNexNE8cyaky6GdF45LzMJ5N2HLhm44lGRk8K-D3rEuTosha9wukvJmPIh5tzKpahDkUXG7CbP0sjnPPVYAOC8dfq3XUTtCdx6dP6kYsE8sJApfnJNEtDwuloVLa0U/s1600/Bench+Step4.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="836" data-original-width="1501" height="178" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjhA4vCxoEhgi9R2wZNexNE8cyaky6GdF45LzMJ5N2HLhm44lGRk8K-D3rEuTosha9wukvJmPIh5tzKpahDkUXG7CbP0sjnPPVYAOC8dfq3XUTtCdx6dP6kYsE8sJApfnJNEtDwuloVLa0U/s320/Bench+Step4.png" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
</li>
<li>This is just a recommended step but I can't drill holes in the exact spot on all sides, I need to mark which BC pairs go together and in which direction. To do that, open the masking tape and fold B and C open like a book. Mark with a pencil on the "open pages" both "pages" with the number 1 (make sure you know what is up on your 1!).<br />Repeat for the other BC pair, marking it with the number 2.<br /><br /><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg0ZwcjwGINActtfBXE-OHi-tsO4uHqtqy_ZoFlnhiBNhdT9gnx2S_mrJZ0hdl4iVyDEhhK2OqHmYKHWbnxoyr2o93vVYn8IA8dznWJR7gBGKf_jWQ3d85TYutR7WS3Av_0ZjQ5Ny85J9pC/s1600/Bench+Step5.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="836" data-original-width="1501" height="178" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg0ZwcjwGINActtfBXE-OHi-tsO4uHqtqy_ZoFlnhiBNhdT9gnx2S_mrJZ0hdl4iVyDEhhK2OqHmYKHWbnxoyr2o93vVYn8IA8dznWJR7gBGKf_jWQ3d85TYutR7WS3Av_0ZjQ5Ny85J9pC/s320/Bench+Step5.png" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
</li>
<li>Widen holes on both pieces B with a 1/4" drill bit so that the Tee-nut fits into the whole.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgztkWNJa8TNJtYQUvM4B5XbfAh5818svK_rif761uK4eFOCm6oY21ayCHBPpxUGDt6wvvFQkQx4-b87qHVM9nYahkhQh6RpA-kTqKy5J26zBwDtyDAvnBC0xNmNBhpRcLXpm4TRSHa_BXp/s1600/Bench+Step6.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="836" data-original-width="1501" height="178" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgztkWNJa8TNJtYQUvM4B5XbfAh5818svK_rif761uK4eFOCm6oY21ayCHBPpxUGDt6wvvFQkQx4-b87qHVM9nYahkhQh6RpA-kTqKy5J26zBwDtyDAvnBC0xNmNBhpRcLXpm4TRSHa_BXp/s320/Bench+Step6.png" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
</li>
<li>Take bench top (glued pieces A) from step 1 and align pieces B on wrong side of bench top<br />1 1/2" from the ends.<br />Mark the holes on bench top (marked in red on picture), then set bench top aside. <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
</li>
<li>Hammer Tee-nuts into the holes on pieces B from the side that does NOT have the number 1 or 2 written on it. Set aside<br /><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhULHbmWTkYUX2c3vqWpO5wTphcsQ8s-StoCkOUg6R6qS0eBFXEsx_kIcoYe8SxAH2HfI_E0Ua1EI9pWePBzkUaJzi5fywpHeWUyWy5Cv7E9fCIQwhsmnJK-iXjkL_6qsUJr5CZK5tGK9Ni/s1600/Bench+Step6b.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="836" data-original-width="1501" height="178" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhULHbmWTkYUX2c3vqWpO5wTphcsQ8s-StoCkOUg6R6qS0eBFXEsx_kIcoYe8SxAH2HfI_E0Ua1EI9pWePBzkUaJzi5fywpHeWUyWy5Cv7E9fCIQwhsmnJK-iXjkL_6qsUJr5CZK5tGK9Ni/s320/Bench+Step6b.png" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
</li>
<li>Take rotary tool and create an indentation on each of the hole marks on bench top (A) large and deep enough that the head of the Tee-nut fits in it and so that piece B sits flush with A.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh35y_ftLk1Ok44Pwmgt-Asl46xpTJNyn5JXjI-ezt5et3fFpRXB6d12kUlFrXVr6qU20CO5IQrGBhvePjR4oikdx79YEjLhA7ZdnfiUSdL3XZh9uwa_dLkvBllf6WEMt0wk5g1N6OVzFOj/s1600/Bench+Step8b.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="836" data-original-width="1501" height="178" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh35y_ftLk1Ok44Pwmgt-Asl46xpTJNyn5JXjI-ezt5et3fFpRXB6d12kUlFrXVr6qU20CO5IQrGBhvePjR4oikdx79YEjLhA7ZdnfiUSdL3XZh9uwa_dLkvBllf6WEMt0wk5g1N6OVzFOj/s320/Bench+Step8b.png" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
</li>
<li>Glue pieces B onto bench top and align Tee-nut heads so they fit into the indentations made in the previous step.<br />Pre-drill holes with a tiny drill bit for the small #4 flat head wood screws. Each piece A should be attached with 4 screws to each piece B.<br />Your bench top is done.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhBjcLtvn9IR0MvbPDMWPR88y1S2IPgTEJfY3dmFt2wmnPz4MyQQ3VWuyGByrEZP520DGDC5jMeq2-eB9AmIVS8E_2t3uZNVF5fH_IZh_r8DQhmcQPD5xqplbfkh12o3BQdGjibsaAGl2Sg/s1600/Bench+Step9.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="836" data-original-width="1501" height="178" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhBjcLtvn9IR0MvbPDMWPR88y1S2IPgTEJfY3dmFt2wmnPz4MyQQ3VWuyGByrEZP520DGDC5jMeq2-eB9AmIVS8E_2t3uZNVF5fH_IZh_r8DQhmcQPD5xqplbfkh12o3BQdGjibsaAGl2Sg/s320/Bench+Step9.png" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
</li>
<li>Take one of the remaining pieces C from step 7 and center on bench legs created in step 5.<br />Have the number one written in pencil face up.<br />Pre-drill holes and taper the edges, just as was done in step 4. Make sure the screws sit flush with the wood surface.<br />Repeat for the other bench leg and piece C.<br />Your bench legs are done.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgMo8zmV5jV2OXGS9ag2nY_gMSAwgYwXyfvU8O2GrcWmYAXDHHn8NLtzt8Yl_vT80KG9M78l9xanh4USudM3cTRs73_2hXJRWBLhJV8cf4RyjiLukTXBZBKIwAPGZgwQVyC3guLksNH7FsD/s1600/Bench+Step11b.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="836" data-original-width="1501" height="178" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgMo8zmV5jV2OXGS9ag2nY_gMSAwgYwXyfvU8O2GrcWmYAXDHHn8NLtzt8Yl_vT80KG9M78l9xanh4USudM3cTRs73_2hXJRWBLhJV8cf4RyjiLukTXBZBKIwAPGZgwQVyC3guLksNH7FsD/s320/Bench+Step11b.png" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
</li>
<li>Now you have the bench legs and bench top as you can store them when bench is not used.<br />Let's get to the assembly.<br />Take one of the machine screws.<br />Align bench leg 1 with the bench top part B that is marked 1 and screw bench leg to bench top with machine screw.<br />Repeat for the remaining 3 screws.<br />Your bench is done. When you want to store the bench, just remove those 4 machine screws and washers.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<b>What you need</b><br />
<ul>
<li>(2) 1" x 5" x 15" pieces of premium common board (got mine at Home Depot)<br />The actual dimensions of the wood will be around 3/4" x 4 1/2" x 15"</li>
<li>Saw, best is a coping or scroll saw or any thing that can cut straight up and down</li>
<li>small wooden chisel (optional but very helpful)</li>
<li>Sandpaper</li>
</ul>
<div>
<b><br /></b></div>
<div>
<b>How to make the Viking chair</b></div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<ol>
<li>Cut two pieces of 5" wide wood to a length of 15" (could be a little shorter if you don't want it to go that high to the doll's head).<br />Sand all sides and corners.<br /> </li>
<li>Measure 4" from one end of the board and draw a horizontal line.<br />Mark center of that line (center of board).<br />Then draw a second line parallel to the first line 3/4" further away or the width of the board if it is not 3/4" wide up to center of board.<br />For easier cutting of the cutout, I sawed the two long, straight cuts with a coping or scroll saw, then used a wood chisel to break out the cutout but you can saw it just as well.<br />Repeat for the other board.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<b>What you need</b><br />
<ul>
<li>1/4 cup salt</li>
<li>1/4 cup flour + some extra for hands and table</li>
<li>1/4 cup water</li>
<li>some cinnamon for darker color (optional)</li>
<li>piece of parchment paper</li>
<li>baking sheet and oven</li>
</ul>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<b>How to make the Bread</b></div>
<div>
<ol>
<li>Mix salt and flour in a bowl.</li>
<li>Slowly add water while mixing until you have a dough like consistency.</li>
<li>To get the darker color, add some cinnamon in the dough (either the whole dough or just part of it).</li>
<li>Use additional flour for hands and table and knead though thoroughly.</li>
<li>Form small balls and flatten and put on parchment paper on baking sheet.</li>
<li>Make smaller and larger ones</li>
<li>To make the breads, leave in larger ball and cut top surface with a knife with a couple of vertical and horizontal cuts.</li>
<li>Leave over night to dry.</li>
<li>Bake at 300F/150C for about 40 minutes.</li>
<li>Let cool and spray with a mat sealer.</li>
</ol>
This bread goes very well with your <a href="https://myagdollcraft.blogspot.com/2019/08/renaissance-overview-for-american-girl.html">Medieval/Renaissance</a> or <a href="https://myagdollcraft.blogspot.com/2017/10/viking-overview-for-american-girl-doll.html">Viking</a> theme.<br />
The amounts stated above were able to create all of these:<br />

<br />
I found all of these perfect flyers and leaflets on NASA's webpage (<a href="https://spinoff.nasa.gov/resources.html">https://spinoff.nasa.gov/resources.html</a>).<br />
<br />
I resized some of them for AG size and made a new folder to match what a NASA folder might look like. <br />
You can download a <a href="https://drive.google.com/open?id=10mmSIu4tgwF8YMjuYdyZth7V3X8QloAM">clear folder</a> (use with grey card stock)<br />
or download the <a href="https://drive.google.com/open?id=19OqPvyLiUre-36glKYqxmeV42hb0fVhn">grey folder</a> (use with white card stock).<br />
For my free tutorial on how to assemble the folder, go <a href="https://myagdollcraft.blogspot.com/2013/08/school-folder-for-american-girl-doll.html">here</a>.<br />
<br />
The Information Pack I created from the NASA flyers can be downloaded <a href="https://drive.google.com/open?id=1QZNoSTsHlfrSekVhfN6TEgSz2tsQ_8s5">here</a>.<br />

<br />
For those of you who would like to have the Science or Baking Set and don't have access to a 3D printer, you could have a chance to purchase it. I donated a Science and Baking Set to <a href="https://www.facebook.com/DFACpage/">Dolls for a Cause</a> and their Autism Auction. Some of those items are not yet for sale in my store and are currently one of a kind.<br />
I have an autistic son and feel very connected to this cause so go and check it out.<br />

<br />
<br />
<h4>
What you need</h4>
<ul>
<li>3g clear lip balm container (found mine on ebay)</li>
<li>Acrylic water (optional) or clear school glue as growth medium</li>
<li>Acrylic paint or dye (optional) to color growth medium</li>
<li>Puff paint (to create the growing bacteria and such)</li>
</ul>
<div>
<br /></div>
<h4>
How to make the Petri Dish</h4>
<div>
<ol>
<li>Either mix acrylic water (parts A and B) according to manufacturer's instructions or take clear school glue and optionally mix a little bit of yellow or red acrylic paint in it (not much, you just want a hint).<br /></li>
<li>Pour a small layer into lip balm container. I only used the lid of the container, but you can use the bottom part, if you want to be able to close it later. This will be your "growth medium".<br />Let dry/cure.<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br /></li>
<li>Take your puff paint (you can use multiple colors) and dot and streak across the "growth medium". Let dry.<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

You can skip the rest of the steps and finish your jacket by
top stitching 3 parallel rows across the vest; the first one 1½" parallel
to the bottom hem and then each of the next two rows 1½" from the previous
one.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: left;">
I would recommend pulling your top thread towards the bobbin
thread (inside of the jacket) and tying the top and bobbin thread then using a
needle pulling the thread tails between the inner and outer layer and cutting.
That way no tails will be visible.<o:p></o:p></div>

<b>What you need</b>
<br />
<ul>
<li>(1) 1" x 2" furring strip board (8' long)</li>
<li>9 yards of string</li>
<li>Wood glue and small nails (1 1/4" long)</li>
<li>Masking tape</li>
<li>Sandpaper</li>
<li>Drill and 3/16" drill bit</li>
<li>Saw</li>
</ul>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<b>How to make the bed</b></div>
<ol>
<li>Cut the following pieces from the furring strip<br />(2) 10 1/4" header and footer (A)<br />(2) 22 3/4" side (B)<br />(4) 4 3/4" legs (C)</li>
<li>Smooth all sides and edges with sandpaper.</li>
<li>Take piece (B) and draw a parallel line 1/2" from one of the long edges.<br />On this line, mark the center.<br />From the center mark, mark every 1 1/2" inches until you have a total of 13 marks.</li>
<li>Take other piece (B) and align on top of each other. Wrap both ends with masking tape to keep the pieces together. Make sure you can still see your markings.</li>
<li>Drill holes with a 3/16" drill bit where marked. Disregard the large holes, I tried to make the bed with just pegs, no nails. It didn't work out so well, therefor the instructions with the nails :-)

</li>
<li>Take one of the pieces (A) and draw a parallel line 1/2" from one of the long edges.<br />On this line, mark the center.<br />From the center mark, measure 3/4" in both directions as the first hole marks. Then mark every 1 1/2" from there until you have a total of 6 hole marks.</li>
<li>Take other piece (A) and align on top of each other. Wrap both ends with masking tape to keep the pieces together. Make sure you can still see your markings.</li>
<li>Drill holes with a 3/16" drill bit where marked. Again disregard the large holes in the picture.

</li>
<li>Assemble the frame with glue and nails. Pieces (A) will be sandwiched between pieces (B).<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg4mttwlc5T4phn-gH5bxIUOjyjByUFguV-0OCq-dsGp69PbGP1CNi12AwywSXDapPwTcjF0sI7gFJKoMB511oREXVf3faVQXsE8oaFSfdGJXC4F8d2eX_A_-pKFzSbb88WwwQ0ATeoKQ3R/s1600/20170818_135314.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="900" data-original-width="1600" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg4mttwlc5T4phn-gH5bxIUOjyjByUFguV-0OCq-dsGp69PbGP1CNi12AwywSXDapPwTcjF0sI7gFJKoMB511oREXVf3faVQXsE8oaFSfdGJXC4F8d2eX_A_-pKFzSbb88WwwQ0ATeoKQ3R/s320/20170818_135314.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
</li>
<li>Now comes the weaving of the string. To make it easier to get the string through the holes, I added a whole bunch of hot glue at one end, kind of creating a needle from hot glue.<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhRSZbKsp9vtrBHCewr-qGxWo6YTNKrwud-wLNjglN85A9PPoCT8sBBuhHtXbXVnXaj2Uh2Au_NgOW59gO6C5E2FkqJAjR0jD5IBAnQHE3y-5AB2xXtWXvtGf0aTP-vIrJs2WcCHj3VO_rf/s1600/20170818_151224.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="900" data-original-width="1600" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhRSZbKsp9vtrBHCewr-qGxWo6YTNKrwud-wLNjglN85A9PPoCT8sBBuhHtXbXVnXaj2Uh2Au_NgOW59gO6C5E2FkqJAjR0jD5IBAnQHE3y-5AB2xXtWXvtGf0aTP-vIrJs2WcCHj3VO_rf/s320/20170818_151224.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
</li>
<li>Tie the other end into a huge knot then start weaving across the short side. Pull tight after each pass.<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhZ_KZXA6OtPMEyCgaWwaLdZled7VSNtKWIbyu9SBZ9gfKaLSF7Bdf385n2ush34UeFiGYpcncPSzayVh-jl3-mhWFKZvU-eQ9_k9rpXfuZiToHPh5faavDGbpOYDMMtuiQNMtyNMlHly5L/s1600/20170818_145606.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="900" data-original-width="1600" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhZ_KZXA6OtPMEyCgaWwaLdZled7VSNtKWIbyu9SBZ9gfKaLSF7Bdf385n2ush34UeFiGYpcncPSzayVh-jl3-mhWFKZvU-eQ9_k9rpXfuZiToHPh5faavDGbpOYDMMtuiQNMtyNMlHly5L/s320/20170818_145606.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
</li>
<li>Then weave across the long side, going up and down over the short strands. Pull tight after each pass. Tie off at the end.<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXknIEFVUhYlntEP7084Cnw0r3Ffh_Il_aW2bZJhw7WmpBSlZaCHY7EPeZzMoTXUPEFIvqom1KPahpOGx8DS4py5VZxPc_OrgytMmL0tYuaDbFg2yvEoZ-yYa98e7ETY22zLcLpdD8lTcX/s1600/20170818_151208.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="900" data-original-width="1600" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXknIEFVUhYlntEP7084Cnw0r3Ffh_Il_aW2bZJhw7WmpBSlZaCHY7EPeZzMoTXUPEFIvqom1KPahpOGx8DS4py5VZxPc_OrgytMmL0tYuaDbFg2yvEoZ-yYa98e7ETY22zLcLpdD8lTcX/s320/20170818_151208.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>

<b>How to make the Viking Tent Frame</b></div>
<div>
<ol>
<li>Cut (4) pieces of 33" (A) and (2) pieces of 30" (B).<br />(2) pieces (A) and (1) piece (B) can be cut from one 8' furring strip board.<br /><br />
</li>
<li>Take all 4 pieces (A) and tape together with one end aligned.<br />Cut other end at a 30° angle.<br />Take the remaining 2 pieces (B) and tape together then cut both ends at a 30° angle. Make sure you create a trapezoid.<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
</li>
<li>For each end of the tent you will need (2) A pieces and (1) B piece. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
</li>
<li>While pieces (A) are still taped together, mark a parallel line to the cut edge, the width of the furring strip ( 1 3/4"). Connect the corners creating a cross. <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<li>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Drill a hole through all (4) pieces (A) where marks cross with a 5/8" or better 11/16" drill bit.</div>
If you are using a 5/8" drill bit, move drill bit up and down to widen hole a little so that a 5/8" dowel fits easily through hole. You do not want the dowel to be a snug fit.<br />

<br />
<br />
<br />
Here is a hack on how you can turn my modern Catamaran pattern into a traditional Polynesian Catamaran similar to Moana's Catamaran. Moana's Catamaran looks slightly different but some of the catamarans in the movie look similar to what we are going to create here.<br />
<br />
You can purchase my Catamaran pattern <a href="https://readcreationsfordolls.com/shop/doll-patterns/doll-play-accessories-patterns/catamaran/">in my store</a>.<br />
<br />
Instructions on how to make Moana's outfit will follow soon. So check back.<br />
<br />
Follow the Catamaran's supply list for the sew or no-sew seat and the Catamaran frame.<br />
<br />
<b>Additionally you will need:</b><br />
<ul>
<li>1/2 yard of beige heavy cotton or canvas (duck) fabric for the sail</li>
<li>Freezer paper (optional for sail decoration)</li>
<li>Acrylic paint for sail decoration and fabric painting medium for acrylic paints (e.g. at JoAnn Fabrics)</li>
<li>Thin hemp string or similar</li>
<li>Awl or sharp nail to create holes</li>
<li>(12) 1 3/8" x 15 1/2" x 1/8" wooden strips<br />like heavy duty paint stirrers (from e.g. Menards) or (4) 48" long wood lath (HomeDepot, Menards,..) or similar wooden strips.</li>
<li>Dark wood stain</li>
<li>(4) jumbo craft sticks</li>
<li>Spray paint primer for plastics and brown spray paint for plastics</li>
<li>Acrylic paints (black, beige,..) to create the wood texture and a brush or sponge to apply paint</li>
<li>Optional acrylic sealer</li>
<li>Rough sand paper</li>
<li>Small piece of paper towel</li>
<li>(4) 3/4" long small flat-head screws</li>
<li>Optional, (2) 1/2" thick branches (one about 28" long, the other about 20" long) for the mast if you are not using the listed CPVC for the mast and boom</li>
</ul>
<br />
<br />
The following are the steps you can take to turn that purchased pattern into a traditional Polynesian Catamaran.<br />
<br />
<b>Modify framing instructions</b><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<ol>
<li>First create the seating (sew or no-sew version, I recommend no-sew). I used Olyfun since it won't be visible anyway and is cheap.</li>
<li>Now to the PVC: cut 2" PVC according to pattern instructions, then slide rough sand paper along the length to create grooves as would be found in wood.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-Foc1AMrE1zscOjNzEH7uJHVbfDarLGt99uFdU4PfYakahXNdf3k-5O4vlH7pHk-81t7AAyZ4ZNH1IafWdP4d6nNVTDiMMmHoZkPq4p6OfeCp92eL_5HVaB0dK6es_JHv7D6Fz87T0yzp/s1600/20170624_154404.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="900" data-original-width="1600" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-Foc1AMrE1zscOjNzEH7uJHVbfDarLGt99uFdU4PfYakahXNdf3k-5O4vlH7pHk-81t7AAyZ4ZNH1IafWdP4d6nNVTDiMMmHoZkPq4p6OfeCp92eL_5HVaB0dK6es_JHv7D6Fz87T0yzp/s320/20170624_154404.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
</li>
<li>Continue Catamaran frame assembly instructions for the 2" PVC pieces (steps 1 and 2)</li>
<li>You will need to decide if your mast and boom are going to be made of CPVC or real branches. If you decide on CPVC, cut mast and boom CPVC pieces according to pattern. If using real branches, replace mast and boom CPVC pieces from pattern with branches.</li>
<li>Cut all CPVC pieces according to pattern instructions.</li>
<li>If you are using CPVC for the mast and boom, take one end of the mast and stuff a little bit of paper towel in the end and push in about 1/2". Fill with hot glue until it is level with the mast end. Repeat for one boom end.<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhlWz7IhT7JTqjXSvPzAAkjyv_P0knGw_w_eoSDOlBPQiPmpPWjx_gXlcJNNNGmUr1bPi_FaWGMEkOa-u4TAxqNBbShLso2UzkH2zjcZtOvMrsbTulDNbj7k4GrhCSvceEOdb-vk5yngIwb/s1600/20170702_205638.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="900" data-original-width="1600" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhlWz7IhT7JTqjXSvPzAAkjyv_P0knGw_w_eoSDOlBPQiPmpPWjx_gXlcJNNNGmUr1bPi_FaWGMEkOa-u4TAxqNBbShLso2UzkH2zjcZtOvMrsbTulDNbj7k4GrhCSvceEOdb-vk5yngIwb/s320/20170702_205638.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
</li>
<li>Prime and paint all PVC and CPVC pieces. Use a brush or sponge to draw the tree pattern onto the (C)PVC with acrylic paint. Seal with acrylic sealer if desired.<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiOJRtLjQa7f7AG1VS1FMoIbSD-2PA_8uRyTlPhgOVWM4_k6dttSpjtbwqtlgYs_okL9mEpZrb_BNsc-xuwlLx9cIMSOFrdE28pWI2Aq6ewnq7IUu2FRBF1XWhJK0pDCm9O4V0bjZ88nRl1/s1600/20170702_164220.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="900" data-original-width="1600" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiOJRtLjQa7f7AG1VS1FMoIbSD-2PA_8uRyTlPhgOVWM4_k6dttSpjtbwqtlgYs_okL9mEpZrb_BNsc-xuwlLx9cIMSOFrdE28pWI2Aq6ewnq7IUu2FRBF1XWhJK0pDCm9O4V0bjZ88nRl1/s320/20170702_164220.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
</li>
<li>For the traditional Catamaran we have the boom piece not at 90° to the mast but about 45° to the mast. For that we need to modify step 3 for boom piece (CPVC or branch) by using the Dremel not at 90° but at 45°. You will still be 90° to the Kebab stick but tilt it 45° towards the boom. Do this on the end which does NOT contain the hot glue !<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

</li>
<li><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Continue with the remainder of the instructions (steps 4 - 13) omitting all steps related to the rudder and the line feeder eyelet. Don't drill holes in step 6!</div>
</li>
<li><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Now we are going to assemble the seating area with all of its assembled CPVC pieces (pieces K, (2)L and J.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiTBjXzYx4bz6yiGqwt5oe8o_O_9_u_j7nX56LAn26Cpoiw-mhKjJIuq5HNGckLH7dRooBFEqcmD_pq2AC4rE8ce3ahsDhrj-undZe60qgQloWyQw9ahyNbUozdEpO3HBDymh57uY8LmBfZ/s1600/20170630_141629.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="900" data-original-width="1600" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiTBjXzYx4bz6yiGqwt5oe8o_O_9_u_j7nX56LAn26Cpoiw-mhKjJIuq5HNGckLH7dRooBFEqcmD_pq2AC4rE8ce3ahsDhrj-undZe60qgQloWyQw9ahyNbUozdEpO3HBDymh57uY8LmBfZ/s320/20170630_141629.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
</li>
<li><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Cut (12) wood strips to 15 1/2" length and stain.</div>
</li>
<li>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
After the wood strips (boards) have dried, align 11 of them on top of the seating area frame</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhEwn3g7gojzUxVWMxouz9TvVV3c-KtvdcvMo9ylZIhY48gQCSojBezrLx3-Oi3pfGzhYQYsOG5FSL6S6qIv90fU5rHH0pmv5GnCc3ZwH-8YX4G-8d9D8e4Mf6q1d-X-MHi6sTS3xYnBcqO/s1600/20170630_104542.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="900" data-original-width="1600" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhEwn3g7gojzUxVWMxouz9TvVV3c-KtvdcvMo9ylZIhY48gQCSojBezrLx3-Oi3pfGzhYQYsOG5FSL6S6qIv90fU5rHH0pmv5GnCc3ZwH-8YX4G-8d9D8e4Mf6q1d-X-MHi6sTS3xYnBcqO/s320/20170630_104542.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Try to center the middle board where the T connector is. This one wooden board needs to be shortened to about 14 3/8"<br />
</li>
<li><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Take masking tape and tape across the top and bottom of the boards to keep them from moving</div>
</li>
<li><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Carefully remove connected boards from seating area and flip over so that the underside is facing you and set down separately.</div>
</li>
<li><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Take two of the craft sticks and glue on top of each other, repeat for the other two. Cut to 4" in length.</div>
</li>
<li><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Take one of the glued craft sticks and glue onto wrong side across the short board, supporting it with the adjacent boards. Then glue the second one right underneath it.</div>
I have masking tape on both sides, you should not see your masking tape.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJO-WNAxj8Qkv0V9NYHYsNKpQZs3wtn2y0B7oPh9ADc9FYrMy29mjlo8QtXCOOB-xP1xt3lEQxTWi0wwsJ2uHosVjVpVrDuA5ffGdbziJ2F2aRK0LkrnpNvRj95CBjfPIkJ-IriGmhDv5x/s1600/20170630_135931.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="900" data-original-width="1600" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJO-WNAxj8Qkv0V9NYHYsNKpQZs3wtn2y0B7oPh9ADc9FYrMy29mjlo8QtXCOOB-xP1xt3lEQxTWi0wwsJ2uHosVjVpVrDuA5ffGdbziJ2F2aRK0LkrnpNvRj95CBjfPIkJ-IriGmhDv5x/s320/20170630_135931.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
</li>
<li><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
After glue of support strips has dried, cover the wrong side of all boards with E6000 glue, not gluing the last 1" of all ends.</div>
</li>
<li><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
To make the following step easier, I would recommend moving the wood boards onto a stair with the short board overhanging the stair.</div>
Take assembled seating and align on top of boards (right side of seating goes onto wrong side of boards) making sure your protruding T connector goes into the hole created by the shortened board. Press down on fabric to attach well to boards. Let glue dry.<br />
</li>
<li>You can take a little bit of acrylic paint matching your seating color and paint the visible parts of the support strips. This will make the support strips nearly invisible.</li>
<li>Take (4) 3/4" long small screws and attach the first and last board to the elbow connector (pre-drill holes with a small drill bit first).<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Turn your American Girl doll into a Tudor Lady with the Dress Ensemble and complementing Jewelry pattern.<br />
<br />
Both patterns are for sale in my store and on PixieFaire. Click on the pictures to be forwarded to the listing in my store.<br />
<br />
Both patterns don't just have to be Tudor related. Use white fabric and you have a perfect wedding dress. Just add some tulle to the Tudor Hood and you have a wedding veil.AGDollFanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17396888710034907313noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5912566959573353157.post-76223803030911844162016-12-15T16:38:00.000-06:002017-09-04T10:42:37.874-05:00Galactic Girl<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
