When I made it according to the pattern, I could barely fasten it in the back. I remade it, and cut the front piece 3/8" from the fold, and I cut BOTH back pieces on "Part C" and added 3/8" to the center back. (So basically, I added 2" total to the circumference of the garment.) Now it fits just right. The pants were also a tad small, but they'll do. Maybe the OG dolls are a little "fatter" than AG dolls, I'm not sure. But again, it is cute. You can find it here http://cabbagepatchkidspatterns.blogspot.com/2014/03/bathrobe-for-cabbage-patch-doll.html
You will have to make small adjustments but it should work for Build-a-Bear, at least it works on our monkey from Build-a-Bear if you add 1" to the sleeve length and 1" to the bathrobe hem. Good luck !AGDollFanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17396888710034907313noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5912566959573353157.post-47058856553311754692014-03-26T11:45:17.959-05:002014-03-26T11:45:17.959-05:00I am glad you like my site. If it's any consolation, my husband teases me a lot too ;-)
I made a bathrobe pattern for my son's 17" cabbage patch doll, which is about the size of the Build-a-Bear animals. I could make a tutorial and put it up on my Cabbage Patch doll blog (it might take a little while so please check back). You could adjust it if needed. Hope that helps.AGDollFanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17396888710034907313noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5912566959573353157.post-50490970029733260932014-03-26T11:34:50.570-05:002014-03-26T11:34:50.570-05:00love your site I have printed off a lot of your pa...love your site I have printed off a lot of your patterns have 4 granddaughters all into the American girl dolls, hubby teases me does it bring back child hood memories as I am always sewing them something.
